Fighting Dr.Tabata
ByI was looking through my Hopper Deck (deck of cards with a workout on each), and I saw Tabata Something Else and thought I would apply an MMA twist. I thought I would call it “Fighting Dr.Tabata.”
20 seconds of work, 10 seconds of rest for
4 minutes of each of the following:
Jabs, Cross-punches, Hooks, Elbow Strikes,
and Ground-and-Pound.
Use only one arm every 20 seconds, and switch after the 10 second rest (except ground-and-pound).
This was my Saturday workout, and it is really only as challenging as you make it. I do not claim to be a boxing or fighting genius either, but it was very fun and very grueling.
